Project Description
The Ghost House
Once every hundred years, the Ghost House reappears…and today you have the chance to visit. With the help of famous Ghost Hunter Lady Helena Hope, with her supernatural skills and your courage, you will discover the truth behind the legend of the man who once lived there – Black Hearted Benjamin, highwayman and now, GHOST.
Journey into a shadowy world of shipwrecks and sword fights, through the thin veil that separates our world from the world we call, ‘the past’. Secrets emerge and things definitely go bump in the night in this seriously spooky story for audiences aged 8+.
The Ghost House is a walk-through theatre experience in a custom built, multi-space set, featuring live performances, magic, digital technology and dance from Cahoots, makers of The Grimm Hotel.

How it Works
The Ghost House is a walk-through theatre experience featuring live actors, magic and illusion, digital technology and dance. The show takes place in a 12,000 sq foot space that has been transformed with incredible scenic detail into Cahoots’ very own Ghost House. You will be walking through the experience, entering various different rooms and watching exciting pieces of theatre, dance and magic as our ghost story unfolds.
Some areas of The Ghost House will be dark, and contain scenes that younger children may find scary. The experience is for children age 8+, and all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Theatrical smoke and lighting will be used at points throughout the performance.
We recommend you wrap up warm for your visit, as the Ghost House will be a little chilly!
You can leave the Ghost House at any time, but due to the immersive nature of the piece, you will not be able to re-enter. Latecomers can not be admitted, so make sure you arrive with plenty of time.
