Duck, Death and the Tulip 2018-06-20T12:32:11+01:00

Project Description

Duck, Death and the Tulip

Adapted from the picture book written by the award-winning author Wolf Erlbruch and offers a gentle yet compelling insight into a subject matter not often associated with Children’s Theatre. In a strangely heart-warming story, a duck strikes up an unlikely friendship with Death… This simple, unusual, warm and witty story deals with the difficult subject matter of death in a way that is elegant, straightforward, and thought-provoking. After the success of Cahoots NI’s production Egg, which dealt with the early stages of life and the transition from childhood to adulthood, this new show explores the experience of loss in the same engaging and thoughtful way. The creative team for Duck, Death & the Tulip includes the same winning combination that brought Egg to the London stage: Director, Paul Mc Eneaney, Choreographer, Muirne Bloomer, and  Sound Director, Garth Mc Conaghie. The show features live music, illusion, dance and, above all… magic!
