What is the secret of The Secret Bookshop?
Hidden behind an unmarked door, tucked between the folds of one world and the next, there lies a bookshop unlike any other.
But what is its secret?
Some say the bookshop changes – every time you enter. Some say it’s protected by a strange society – who not only love the books they keep, but might have even found a way of unlocking the worlds inside them.
There’s only one way to find out… by joining the Secret Bookshop Society.
This Christmas, step inside and discover the mystery, mayhem and magic of The Secret Bookshop – where the stories you love burst into life in incredible ways.
All you need is a cupful of courage, the power of your imagination, and your ticket, because in The Secret Bookshop, not every story stays on the shelf!
Please be advised that this is an immersive walk-through experience which will require standing and walking between different zones throughout the performance. Some areas will be dark or dimly lit. The production also features bright lights, digital media, flashing or strobe effects, as well as music and sound effects, which may affect individuals with photosensitivity, light sensitivities, or sound sensitivities.

We are building a team of volunteers to work alongside us on upcoming exciting projects and we need YOU!
We are looking for people with a wide range of skills, whether you are a performer, an administrator or have amazing people skills, we want to hear from you! What’s important to us is that you are excited by creating world class, theatrical magic for young audiences and their families.
This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone that might want to dedicate some spare time to a registered charity, want a sneak peak behind the scenes of an international theatre company, learn some new skills or make some new friends and have a bit of fun!
