This much-loved story of family, history and hope is told like never before in a play from Charles Way, Directed by Paul Bosco Mc Eneaney with a stirring live original score from Garth McConaghie.
A world class cast of 7 will be bringing Marita Conlon-McKenna’s wonderfully crafted characters to life in this theatrical adaption of epic proportions!

PHILIPPA O’HARA
Philippa O’Hara is a singer and actor from Belfast. She trained in BMC’s Performing Arts course which she completed with a Degree in Drama from Queen’s University, Belfast. In 2010 she took part in ‘Over the Rainbow’, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC search for a new Dorothy. Philippa beat nearly 10,000 girls all over the country throughout a series of extremely intensive audition processes, gaining a very respectable place in the final 20. Her most recent credits include Secrets of Space (Cahoots NI Ireland Tour) Shh! We Have a Plan (Cahoots NI, China and USA Tour), Danny Carmo’s Mathematical Mysteries (Cahoots NI, USA Tour), Under The Hawthorn Tree (The MAC, Belfast), Pinocchio (The MAC, Belfast) Little Red Riding Hood (Market Place Theatre, Armagh), The Andrews Sisters at the Derry Jazz Festival (Playhouse Theatre, Derry/Londonderry) and My Mother and Other
Strangers (BBC NI). She also sings regularly all over Ireland with her sister, Jolene, as ‘Songbirds’.
